The guy from my knowledge is the man expected to go number 1 in this years draft.

So in theory we ain't getting him unfortunately, but........ according to Mark Stevens we have interviewed him.

So this means one of two things, we are planning to make a play at a big trade OR we are doing our due dilegence and keeping options in front of us.

Western Bulldogs are interviewing him today also. Clubs are just doing the rounds, for us to get #1 we'd have to give up someone like Hill which wont happen.

Waste of time interviewing him, no way can Bond and co can flip pick 18 to 1 without losing a gun player.

Thought clubs interviewed everyone they'd be interested in drafting? I see no reason not to interview him. What if he wants out in a few years and we both need him and can afford him? We know more about him than we otherwise would. I see that as a positive. It's always useful to talk to and get to know as many draftees as possible IMO. You never know what could happen. Many draftees are talked to semi-regularly by clubs. There's no harm spending a little time talking to him. He could be the next Jack Watts. I'm sure the club is still putting enough resources into guys that we realistically can get in the draft.

Unlikely to get him unless he's knocked up a WA girl. Even then, West Coast are likely to take him just to spite us.
