Porter was far from a hack.

One of the worst trades ever made was getting rid of him for McKernan. I have no doubt that he'd still be playing for us if he hadn't been traded and would be putting in much better performances than Ackland.
 
We were well and truly mauled by the Lions, but I didn't expect more from a team of PUSSIES!

But the guys have been to hell and back the past 3 years, and well, we're still stuck in hell.

Porter was traded for McKernan at the end of 2001, 12 months prior to Pagan's arrival. He was ultimately displaced from the Kangaroos side by 'Spider' Burton. Chris Bryan has spent most of this season running around in the Williamstown colours, much like last season which he spent running around in the Bullants' colours. So ordinary is Bryan that Guy Richards has played more senior games for Collingwood this season than what Bryan has.

Porter has not been on an AFL list for 3 years. The guy was a fantastic toiler, but his time in the game was always going to be limited.
 
He also rolled out the magic wand one after the weekend. Words to the effect of," we haven't got a magic wand, if we did we would have waved it years ago." Does this guy think these up or rehearse them on the way to the ground? Forget the crap qoutes Denis and try getting within 10 goals of the opposition.
