The classic 1928 German silent film, Pandora's Box, is on SBS tonight, at 10.30pm, at least that's the time for Adelaide.

Absolutely Fantastic. This is one of my all-time favourite films.

Louise Brooks' potrayal of Lulu is one of Cinema's truly remarkable performances. She went against every convention of Silent film acting and in the process created one of the screens greatest and sexiest characters.

Has anybody seen any of her other films? They are almost impossible to get here in Australia, but Diary of a Lost Girl has been shown on SBS, and her performance was everybit as powerful in that. I'm currently have her other masterpiece ,Prix de Beaute, on order. Hopefully that will arrive sometime this week.
