I likey!!

If Baines and / or Shorey are available for $5-6M this off-season, I'll be massively disappointed if we can't sign one to sure up our LB spot.

Should be one of our main targets right now.

Whelan wouldnt sell us a bandaid. Shoreys the man. Gun. 6 mill should tie it all up

# Luis Figo wants to finish his playing career at Tottenham.

Anyone know how he went at Inter this year?

# Liverpool winger Harry Kewell is on Tottenham boss Martin Jol's wishlist.

For a small transfer fee and greatly reduced wages, I'd say yes, otherwise not worth the risk.

# Chelsea have had a £10m bid for Pascal Chimbonda turned down by Tottenham.

Any more than that and we'd have to sell surely. Hopefully they have a list of ready to go replacements.

# Darren Bent is set to snub West Ham's £60,000-a-week offer to join Tottenham.

If he joins Spurs it will be on a heck of a lot less money than that. I imagine it would mean the end of Defoe, too hard to keep 4 happy. Word is Villa have offered 8 for Defoe.

# Arsenal have won the race to sign wonderkid Kyle Bartley from Bolton.

Would a wonderkid from Bolton be 28?

LOL! Can't wait for Moomba's reaction.

I don't think they have internet facilities at the local lock up so you'd have to wait until I am released or Souey is sacked, whichever comes early.

One thing I did say on a City board is that if he walked out into the middle of Old Trafford, planted the MCFC flag on the centre spot and then submitted his resignation he would be a City hero forever.

Why do West Ham fans think Cahill is bound for Upton Park? The bloke's a Toffee through and through, a fact which is a source of great anguish for me, because I love the bloke so. Cahill would only leave Everton if it was to go to a big club, not a midtable struggler like West Ham.

It's good to see that Berbatov wants to stay at Tottenham. Bit of loyalty and all that.

There was a NOTW article saying Curbs had interest bringing back Defoe, if Spurs signed Bent today as well.

Couldn't see it happening myself. Either way it's better that Craig "I'm caught 20 times offside in a game" Bellamy.

I hope your right. Cahill has always spoken highly of Everton and how he loves representing the club and what it means to him.

Losing Cahill and Arteta would be massive blows.

I think it's more a case of putting 2 and 2 together but would promote some interesting discussion (and maybe some backtracking) on this board. This from the Star.

Claudio Ranieri will launch a daring cross-city raid for Giuseppi Rossi if he becomes Manchester City manager.

The Italian was favourite to replace Stuart Pearce once the takeover by former Thai President Thaksin Shinawatra goes through.

And Manchester United striker Rossi is top of his shopping list, with City ready to offer £3.5million for the striker.

Ranieri is a massive fan of the American born frontman, who helped him save Parma from relegation from Serie A this term. Rossi is not expected to feature much at United next season with Wayne Rooney, Alan Smith, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Louis Saha all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Strikers are City's top priority this summer after a shocking goal return.

Ten at home all season was the lowest total of any club in league history.

# Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has cut short his holiday to make an 11th-hour move for Mark Viduka.

Karren Brady has apparently tabled him an 3 year, 5 million quid deal.

Very much hoping the Big Man will come to St. Andrews, it's a fat, fat contract given it'll be his last major European deal.
