I've seen PA1 and would really like to see a double feature of PA1 and PA2.

I couldn't find anything but if anyone does, could you let me know?

Heart was pumping after that. Stressful is a good way to put it. Mainly just loud noise scares but they were still done effectively.

Liked this movie.

Was again ruined by squealing teenage girls and ******** boys. The guys next to me walked out because of it. It was the worst I have ever experienced in a movie.

yeah i'm in, 1 wasn't a let down for me

Was for me, due to all the ****ing ********* in the cinema who thought it was their god given right to commentate every single ****ing event which took place on the screen. /rant

Will wait for DVD this time, no way seeing it in a cinema.:thumbsdown:

I saw it yesterday with a mate during the day when all the kids were still at school so the cinema was perfectly quiet (however for some people I guess, its better to see this kind of movie at night?).

Movie was very similar to the first however I like it better due to it having a bit more storyline and that it tied up with the first one. If you have seen the first then you know what to expect in the second.

I just finished seeing it with my sister now. We were the only two in the cinema. It was good, as I hadn't seen the first one and she was able to fill me in on certain events, as she had seen the first one.

So from what she was telling me, the sister (Katie) and her boyfriend were in the first movie. And from what I gathered...

When the husband burnt the photo of a young Katie, that was transferring the spirit/demon from his wife to his sister-in-law, correct?

Then it cut to "three weeks later" where the sisters were sitting next to the pool. Christie had no idea what had happened to her, since that's what apparently happens when you get knocked out... but does that mean that was the first time Katie was at that house since the husband burnt the photo of her as a young girl? Does that mean it wasn't until that day the Demon possessed Katie, seeing as spirits don't leave houses? Then how did she kill Micah if she wasn't possessed at that stage? Or was she?

I asked my sister during the movie if the events of number one happened during the events of the sequel, to which she wasn't able to answer. But it became obvious as it went on that they must take place at the same time (October 8th being after that three-week period.

Shame there's no wikipedia page for PA2.

I had to

just watched it at crown and we were the only ones there, it was soo funny everybody was screaming, holding hands and squinting their eyes...but this movie only had like 3 scary scenes...the rest are just people talking on camera..

wasnt sure of a sequel at first, but surprisingly its getting good reviews, even some saying its better than the first

will have to check this out soon, preferably at a quiet time in the day

watched it last night, thought it was real good.

as someone mentioned, the little girls screaming didn't help. If anything they made it scary for me, screaming there lungs off when a fricken door opens!

top movie though

The movie-going experience for the most part is pretty shit. It is not worth $17 to have people talking, using their mobile phones, eating a tank load of popcorn etc.

Especially given that most cinema staff are pubescent they will not police bad behaviour.

The movie experience will not improve until cinemas offer the ability to use headphones. I'd be prepared to buy a good set of Bose headphones if it means I wouldn't have to hear people talking and eating.

Yeah I know. You know what tho, if people really talk alot during the movie and stuff, you can ask for complimentary tickets. I remember watching "Disturbia" and the "children" in there completely ruined the whole film- at the end I went to the box office, there were maybe half a dozen grumpy old people like me, and yeah we all scored comp tickets.

The workers there are MEANT to check cinemas and warn/throw people out who are acting up. I know, I used to work at Hoyts, we had to intital each session twice, making sure we checked them.

100% agree. I have had this idea for YEARS, would love to see this in the cinemas one day. Would be in your own world, no interruptions by anyone. :thumbsu:

had no idea what it was about, no expectations, 3am, alone, raining outside and something ran across my roof, thats how i watched the first one i'll be watching the second one in a similar way

The first one was boring,l had to put match sticks in my eye lids to keep me awake.
I guess you don't like movies that build slowly to a grand climax. I thought it scared you just enough to keep you interested and there was indeed a nice payoff at the end.

I will probably wait for this one on DVD but it sounds like it is pretty good.
