Hey guys

I'll be attending my first ever game down at SS this week

I'm wondering the best place to find parking for the game?
I know there are a thousand odd places within the precinct, but I doubt i'll get there in time.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Just cruise the streets and if you go far enough you'll find one. I like parking at South Geelong station, costs $7 for the scouts but is close enough to the ground. If you say you're there to catch a train too you get in for free. Just don't make it obvious you're actually footballing it up.

Car park free if you drive a ford.

Lotta good that does me.

Erm, I find parking at Geelong Sth Primary School is good. Very close to the ground.

Hey can someone please tell me where exactly the Lambys tent is at KP? And does anyone know if it will be open early cause of the early start?

Bdp's office.;)

Behind the Wade stand. It's not a tent anymore:D

dont park in the carparks, damn hard gettin out
i normally park out west fyns street area, short walk

Yeah it takes ages to get out of the parking area at Skilled Stadium. Try parking in/around the Carr St area, plenty of free parking there. :)

What about across the river and to the right? The odd time I go down to KP that's where the car's parked. Bit of a walk but not too far!

I'm with sicko on that one, very easy to get out of after the game.

A bit of a warning if you park in the streets, make sure you park legally,(that includes the fire plugs). The local council made over 3 million dollars revenue in parking fines in the last twelve months.Make sure you don't become another statistic.

My old man lives in Verner St across from the train station car park. Generally quite a few parks on the street there up to an hour before bounce down.
