Party Theme

Some themes to consider next time:

An oldie but goldie - Black tie/Sexy dress (be warned there are always a couple of blokes wearing dresses...) with maybe a cocktail theme.

Brown.

Toga - as previously suggested. Animal House!

Boardshorts and black tie.

Bollywood (instead of hollywood)

Medievil is probably one to go for next time.

Beach parties are always a hit.

I was lobbying for a toga party too!!! (being a former UWA student has conditioned me to the idea...).

But, with a Hollywood theme, I think I can work the toga/ancient history theme in there. Maybe go as Cleopatra or something? And yes Bollywood has already been mentioned as we have some Bollywood posters around the house courtesy of one of my housemates.

We went against black tie because we've got a work ball coming up in a couple of months.

"Beach" party would have been fun...except for the current water restictions issue which would have prevented us from filling up a paddle pool.

P.S. You know you're getting old if you get excited when you figure out its your rostered watering day...

You could have a traffic light party, althoug it tends to happen that all the ladies wear red while all the guys wear green.

Yeah, went to one of them a few weeks back as Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, complete with coiffed white mullet and leather pants. Sadly, my cocaine dealer was out of town that weekend.
