Always had high hopes for Reimers. There's a lot of Zaka about him in the way he would run away from a pack and could finish a goal. Some of his passes in the field were so flat and quick and on target. He must really have been perplexed about the boots issue, especially when you then see guys like BJ wearing them the week after being delisted.

This hits it square on the head for me. Reimers would've been better suited to footy a generation or 2 ago where it wasn't such a thinking mans game. I think Jetta also falls into the category for me.

Had all of the athleticism and skill you could want, not much of the discipline and probably less of the intensity at the ball and the man that you'd want from a guy who presented the way he did while seemingly enjoying making himself the center of attention.

I still think that Hird aborted that project a year too early. I would have given him 1 more year on the rookie list.

It is also fitting that a game he will be most remembered for was also one that involved the small matter of a 109-point margin swing from one quarter to the next, almost as a tribute to his inconsistency!
