I think the fans need to show some patience with the playing group. When the Wizard returns it will make a big difference to the squad.

The reality is though, the Wizard isn't the type of guy who is "coached" into a good player, or to have a good game. Hes pure talent, noone can take credit for his performances. If we do get on a roll on the back of the Wizard's performances it will set a dangerous prescdent where the coach can be hopeless but if we finish in the finals the coach is retained.

Perhaps this similarity between FFC and StKilda explain why both sides have strong lists, yet such under performing teams. Its hard for a team to play well when there is a poisonous off field atmosphere at the club.

Actually our board reminds me nothing of the political infighting and agendas that are plaguing the Saints. And for that we can be grateful.

The only poisonous off field atmosphere at our club is coming from whiteants like you.

What off field drama is GentleJeff referring to? I think he still pretty angry over the farmer suspension. Ever since then he has hit out at Rick Hart and the board, bout time he woke up to the fact Rick and the board did the right thing and there are no problems at board level.

In the media this week, Steve Bedwell had this to say about Butterss and the St Kilda board: ""Unfortunately, to get rid of Rod you really do need to get rid of the whole board. He has actually surrounded himself with yes men and sycophants to a degree."

Does this scenario not sound eerily similar to Rick Hart and his merry band of yes men? Steve Bedwell. Of course. Sit up straight everyone. Here's a voice we can respect.

The answer to your question is of course a resounding no. The evidence is that if there was, there'd be horde of BigFooty posters all over it. That its just you should tell you something.

Really, the question is: is there any evidence, any link so tenuous that you would not consider using it to support your fantasy that Rick Hart is a problem? You get some fact, and then twist it, and bend it backwards twice to support a point of view that is left field to begin with.

Rick Hart is not a protected species on these forums.
It's not about Rick Hart.

Its about the quality of your arguments. Its about the force of your opinions and the complete lack of substance behind them. You repeatedly make big assertions with no foundation. You resort to personal attacks to get your point across without realising how desperate it appears. Even if I had received a free hair curler, it doesn't substantiate your arguments that Rick Hart is bad for the club.

So you could be perfectly correct but no one believes you. Well ... except for Belnakor.

I enjoy a conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, but you are way off the mark Jeff.

The difference between the saints and Freo is that Victorian supporters elect a ticket when they have their elections. For example Rick Hart would have his group of board members up for election against Nick Tana's group of 6 or 7 board members and we'd all vote on which group we want running our club.

The Fremantle board has 2 representatives elected by the members, 2 members appointed by the WAFC, and the others are appointed by the board. For Rick Hart to surround himself with yes men he would have had to have a major influence over the footy commission, which he doesn't have, and he would have had to encourage supporters to select certain candidates, which he didn't do.

Cameron Schwab has much, much, much more power than Rick Hart. You need to get over your grudge against Rick, he has very little influence over the footy club.

Hereá follow up to Gentleman Jeff's comments about Steve Bedwell and St Kilda.

Andrew Demetriou: "The St Kilda football club, regardless of what people might think or might write, is a very well run football club, very sound at board level."

Demetriou said the current board took over when the club had a significant debt.

"They're returning $1 million dollar profits, they've gone close in finals," he said.

"And yes there are some issues to do with the former coach, but people who think they can come up and challenge and do a better job than Rod Butterss and his board should think carefully.""

What the hell does it have to do with Demetriou anyway? Fair dinkum this guy is an example of why we have elections in a democracy. He's like a dictator that gets addicted to power and then will do literally anything to keep it. Now he thinks he can tell the clubs how to run themselves & amongst other things tell the Eagles when Cousins can play again. He thinks he is bigger than the game.
I wish paid up members of AFL clubs could vote for CEO of the AFL. Someone could run against eyebrows on a ticket of getting rid of the hands in the back rule and not changing any other rules for 5 years and they would win in a landslide.

Oh and 6. We are nearly back on track although we may have left it a bit late for this year.

I'd say I'm sitting around an 8. I know the number is getting high, because at times today I've had the "who cares anyway, its no big deal" thoughts.
