from Herald Sun article trying to get him off:
"Dangerfield’s elbow also landed with the force of a pushing motion rather than a direct strike so is less likely to see MRO boss Michael Christian elevate it to medium given its capacity to cause injury."
Christian is a deadset clown. Looking at the footage, Dangerfield could have tucked his elbow into the side of his body to bump Byrnes. But he elected to raise his elbow and collect him in the head. This will not be the first or last time Dangerfield will do this.

Remember when he knocked out Vlastuin in the opening minutes of the 2020 GF and the AFL's response was nothing to see here. But Lynch gets pushed into a Carlton player (by another Carlton player), hits him high and gets a week and when Richmond appeals it, the push is considered inconsequential to the hit. No wonder everyone thinks the AFL/MRO is corrupt.

OMFG!

Like it's a minimal strike, but to say it's a push is ridiculous.

Late.
Careless.
High.
Low impact.

I'd give him a week like Tom Lynch got for his round 1 bump that caused no injury.

If Lobb didn't get a week for hitting Mason Cox in the face, there is no way Dangerfield, with the "good bloke" discount, gets a penalty.

Bloody oath it's corrupt.

I reckon some red necks kiss their mommas harder than that force he used. Ryan burns bounced right up and had nil issues at all. Play on
you can always tell from the pearl clutching in these threads those who have never stepped onto a football field
