Surely you're joking.

Isn't WA overpriced when it comes to most sports?

Yep :thumbsd:

According the the worst over here... Nick Marvin in prelim talks to somehow get Bogut to the Wildcats during the lockout.. needs to come up with around 500k for every three months playing time for insurance purposes, but would play for pittance..

<1% chance of this happening but would jizz if comes to fruition.

$384 for 14 games. Are you freaking kidding me. More expensive than AFL

No shit and I reckon the AFL is overpriced. Absolutely ridiculous considering the NBL is of a pretty low standard.

With the lockout I was considering going to a few 36ers games but that depends on the price. Anyone know how much a regular season game is?

I see on their website the next preseason game vs Cairns costs $12.

An average ticket per game can cost from $25-35. It's absolutely crazy. Little wonder the NBL is struggling around the nation.

I signed up to go to the Melbourne Tigers games this season about a month ago as my girlfriend has been a long-time Melbourne Tigers member - she goes with her mother and they had another friend going who dropped off. I was associated with the North Melbourne Giants for several years prior to their merger. Then I lived overseas for more than half a decade. So this is a real opportunity to move on in the NBL. Was delighted when atty signed up.

I'm half expecting it to be a non-story when all is said and done, sadly.

Basketball has always been overpriced in this country. I used to Sixers games a bit in the late '90s, but stopped going because it got too expensive (even though the Sixers were one of the top sides at the time), and the prices have continued to rise since. Even the crappy seats at the Dome are pricey for the view/atmosphere you get (you feel really disjointed from the game sitting up in the rafters there). I know prices go up over time everywhere, but they're still expensive compared to other sports, especially when you factor in the fairly average standard of the league.

People wonder why they dont play at Rod Laver arena any more & its because of the high prices.

If they had cheaper memberships/tickets they would get much bigger crowds
