Hey

I was just wondering what people's opinion of this man is?

I think he's a great tackler, hard at the ball, tough and had a GREAT finals series - in fact was probably one of the standout swans.

Do you think roos may play him as a tagger? Or in the midfield in the future?

What do you think his dreamteam prospects are - he scored 79 and 102 in the finals series, do you think he will play a similar role and score well next year?

It think he has got to be nearly our best youngster up there with veszpremi. Im excited....

I was very impressed with Bevan this season. He has traditionally been a tagger but he is begining to move away from that role into a more attacking one. I would like to see Paul Roos use him mostly in the midfield but rotating him and McVeigh through the forward line every so often aswell because i think both Bevan and McVeigh can be quite damaging in the forward line in short bursts.

A much wiser player. He has more confidence when he gets behind the ball and holds his men well. A very aggressive player might I add.

Though his mistakes he makes are sometimes cringe worthy (you just want to kill him sometimes for his stupid mistakes), but I've seen so much improvement in him. You can tell how much confidence he has when he as the ball in his hands. Willing to take more risks and taking on his opponents.

A very interesting move from Roosy this year when we saw Bevan play up forward. A pretty diverse player might I add. I'm pretty sure he's for keeps. I pretty much reckon we'll Bevan play more down the back than the front. If we're struggling, we'd may move him up to the forwards occasionally; it did work last time.

Very "Inspo" like! :)

He's got great big balls that one. Damn he's a tough bastard. Commits himself totally to the contest.

A future co-captain of the club ? He must be gaining quite a bit of respect from his team-mates. Certainly this year he led by example a number of times - and nearly got himself splattered doing it. Reminds me of Kirk a bit.

Hope he lifts even further this year.

I'm a big fan of Bevan, I think he's great. I read an article a while ago where he said he used to think he wasn't in the best 22. Some of the leadership group pulled him aside and said, "We think you're in the best 22, why don't you?" And ever since then he's believed in himself. I think it really showed this year.

Can't find that article, but this is also a good one.

A quality play with lots of courage and strength. Could do the defensive midfielder job that Kirk does now.

Paul Bevan is a real tough nut, a no nonsense type who had a great season. His disposal and decision making has certainly improved and he will be a 200 game player. I particularly like the fact that his uncle holds the record for the most first grade rugby league appearances and Paul chose to play our great game.

Thought he was our 2nd most improved after McHack this year. Previously I thought he was a liability on the field, like literally I would have prefered to play a man down. But this year he was a very handy player, gave his all and it seems his skills even improved.
