Reported in the Herald Sun that Bevan is exploring his options after being shocked by his omission against the Bulldogs in the finals. I had a feeling he would be dirty on that as he played very well against the Blues the week before and really was stiff to miss out the week after.

I'm a Bevan fan and don't want to see him go. A very handy option down back and can go
forward.

i too don't understand his omission. He' is hard at it, , has good skills, is quick enough and plays team first up forward or back. What more does he have to do? Would be painfully ironic if we lost him for the one of the reasons we got Mummy. Don't go Bevo!!

I'm very disappointed. He's definitely in our best 22 and deserved to keep his spot in the semi-final- especially ahead of Moore who once again provided nothing. I'd rather Moore go than Bevo but this is the way footy works sometimes.

Stop whinging Bevo, it works both ways. You were very lucky to get back into the team in the first place after a series of poor and petulant performances in the reserves. You are certainly not guaranteed a place in the Swans team when we have a fit and full list. You won't be a great loss if you decide to jump ship - your skills are limited, your football brain can be lacking at times and I think you've peaked and won't get be getting any better in the coming years. At best you will be a depth player, at worst a list clogger. Good luck to you if you want to leave, thanks for your services in the premiership year but don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Note to any club recruiters reading: Bevo's a gun , worth a first round pick.
