Well since we lost out on another big name player from the Paul Connor stable I just want to know why this is the case.
1.He despises us with a passion.
2. He see us as a club that will pay overs so that his players get a better deal from the club that they currently play out.
3.His players simply don't want to come to North?
Tell us your opinions

I think that player managers can influence their players. Whether or not there is impropriety is another question. NM offering a big contract has probably assisted Connors in getting a better deal for his player to stay at their club.

Gaff made the decision at the end of the day but it paints Connors in the light that his clients are difficult to deal with and are very indecisive and overall reneg on offers in front of them.
Shows a lack of leadership or direction on both manager and clients behalf.

Going forward the reputation that has been built is it maybe its too time consuming and not worth pursuing a client of his from another club? Ceebs going down the Kelly saga for this very reason.
We put in all these pitches and time and effort for banana

When you can’t tell if it’s young people’s Lingo or autocorrect.

I think with Connors he's making a fair bit of cash with all his clients. It's not about the money now but about his client's happiness. He keeps growing his book through Word of Mouth of players being satisfied and having more of them join him.

I'm sorry but the guy is simply doing his job... his loyalty should primarily be to those who he is working for. This is the position description for any job of this ilk, and questioning his character because Gaff chose to stay is wrong and simple-minded.

Wrong and simple minded?

you sound like you’re apologising for a conman after being scammed.
But he was such a nice young fella.

Personally, after this trade period, I wouldn’t be answering any calls from his agency for the foreseeable future.

I didn't like the way he intervened last year to talk JK into staying at GWS for 2 years when it was clearly against his client's long-term best interests (and ours, though not his problem). But with Gaff, I think he has been embarrassed by his indecisive, back-flipping client. Not exactly his fault. I would not be refusing to deal with him in future, especially given that we need to deal with him to secure JK this year or next.

"I've got nothing but admiration for North Melbourne Football Club that's for sure , Cameron Joyce, the head of football, is an emerging leader is doing a great job at the roos, that's for sure" - Paul Conners
