Give him a go but to be honest he hasn't exactly been demanding selection through his form in the WAFL. I hope for our sake though he rise to the occasion.

I remember the wrap on Johnson when he was drafted that he was good below his knees, which for a big man is a euphemism for saying he can't mark.

Has anyone else noticed that an awful lot of our talls are "good below their knees"?

I thought it was painfully obvious yesterday, particularly gonig forward. We really mis Gardy in the area of contested marks, without him we have NO ONE to take a pack or a one on one grab.

Our young talls are developing but I think this lacking of marking players is a worrying problem. I reckon a fair bit of marking is confidence and a big forward taking a big grab in sight of goals can be a big boost for a team but as we've said infinite times Phil matera aint going to do that for us.

And yes he should get a game

Why can't he play at fullforward, use his bulk, speed and marking ability and if all else fails theres Samps and Matera(and the mid fielders to crumb)

Not to mention hes not bad on the eye either
