I'm yet to see Newman play, but I'm sure Lamby & Footyman have so they might be able to help you further.
Early in the season he sounded a good prospect but he fell away quickly & ended up in the Sandy reserves. He did kick 3 goals in the seniors @ Nth.Ballarat in the last VFL round.
Has a long way to go but he has showed glimpses.
