Yeah. I'd make it up...
Your team just won its first ever final in Melbourne and you're on bigfooty? Sheesh. Party on Wayne...

I think you did make it up and I know you are wrong.

LOL at your little jibe about partying. If I go out and get drunk would that make me cool? pathetic.

Man, I hate the Dockers probably more than anyone, but if there's people out there who think he isn't a champion of the game, then they've got NFI.

The thing is though - he was a champion before this season. It shouldn't have taken tonight's performance to realise that.

to those peddling the mistruth that he does not play well in big games. he has played about 5 finals games and has been close to our best in 4 of them. eg first semi versus geelong 2010 4 goals 20 0dd possessions, 2010 elimination final versus hawks - leading goalscorer on ground and kicked the clutch goals to win game, 2006 prelim versus sydney 4 goals, tonight 2012 elimination final versus geelong 6 goals bog. not a bad strike rate in finals. plus will likely to have now 7 best and fairests along with 7 all australians. if that is not a champion i don't know what is

I don't see how he can't be considered a champion. Has spent a lot of his career playing stop-gap roles in mediocre sides, and now he is in a more settled, well drilled side he could be showing his true potential. Would have kicked 100 this season if he had the same service as Cloke or Franklin

...and please can people stop with the "people need to perform in finals before they can be considered a champion" talk.

Bob Skilton played in 1 final ffs and South Melbourne got thrashed.
Kevin Murray played in only 2 finals and played in 86 more losses than wins.

Neither of those guys have had their legacy tarnished one iota.

He's no Josh Fraser or Aaron Fiora. Fiora over Pavlich is probably just as bad as Tambling over Franklin, surprised that doesn't get brought up more often.

No, I think that would make you an underage drinker

You're funny.

UpTheGuts: goes on a forum and makes a wild assertion about someone.
Forum: Do you have evidence?
UpTheGuts: No but I heard it from a city so it must be true.
Forum: What about some evidence though?
UpTheGuts: Well if you wait for a book that may or may not be produced in the future then that might substantiate my story.
Forum: LOL

If he played for a Victorian side he would be more rated.. Agree?

I agree but what is your point? That is an indictment of the "Less Important if it's a Non-Vic side" attitude that is rife in the Victorian sport media. How exactly would that come into play in determining if Pav is a champ or not? (And anyone who doesn't consider him a champ is an oxygen-thief as far as I'm concerned)

Pav isnt playing the best footy of his career at 30 years of age.

He has played at this level or better for a number of years but nobody else got to see it.

On second thoughts Pav is overrated..

kudos to big Pav on tonight's performance, very assured, great leadership. A talented player, but also a really smart player - seems like a good fella off field too.

Second best player in North's history.

Highly debateable considering some of the players we have had play for us including recent elevated Legend Barry Cable.

Yeah but wouldn't be surprised if Pav got legendary status by the end of his career.
