I just did a quick calculation of his 'likely' votes through this year.

By my estimate I have him at a minumum of 18 and a maximum of 22 votes. Though going by recent years, the umpires probably dislike Bell in their ears the whole game, so perhaps it could be more.

He if he has a big game this last round, he could be in with a shot. Though surely someone from Geelong will take it.

Thoughts?

Pav can't even get a free kick, he has no chance of pulling enough votes to win it. Jimmy Bartel is the one to beat, I reckon. Real smoky - maybe Luke Hodge. It wouldn't surprise me if Bell is our top vote winner.

I've been doing Brownlow Votes for whole comp...taking into consideration umpires, eye catching efforts (espicially in last quarter) etc.

I have Freo votes like this;

17 Pavlich
9 Headland
8 Bell, Hasleby
4 Sandilands, Mundy
3 Tarrant, JCarr
2 Crowley
1 Farmer, Hayden, Gilmore

I have G Ablett on 36 votes! Brent Harvey next best on 27

If P. Bell isn't our number one vote getter this season there is something seriously wrong with the Brownlow.

So you're tipping Bell to take out the Doig? I reckon Pav will probably win it again.

Bell's had an outstanding 2nd half to the year but I think Pav has been a little more consistent over the whole season.

Theres only been one brownlow in history when the votes finished that high, so i doubt that.

Pav will get his customary 15-16 votes like he does every season. Top 10 but not even close to winning.

The Hase will get about 12 i reckon. People forget how good he was early in the season.

But people forget how many games we lost
