I will still stand by what I said that suggesting that Pav be used "if there is no other options" is insane and IMO evidence of a knee jerk reaction.
How does that instill faith in clearly our best player (whether he is out of form or not)?
Just so we dont selectively quote me this is the full paragraph.
It's now up to coaching staff to identify how to circumvent his poor form and turn it into a positive. Something like instructing the team to only use him if there is no other options. Have Pav as a back up big body around the packs.
Using another sport as an analogy of our sport he could be dropped down the order for a while or not get the use of the new ball.
Football has a lot more options to play him back into form.
Like I said it's up to the coaching staff ...etc .
In my eyes no one is indispensable.
If he is injured then get him fixed. If he is suffering from some sought of life drama. Fix it.
In the mean time we need someone to give 100%, 100% of 100 mins of footy.
