I am more excited and happy that he has just signed on for another three years!!

His name will be whispered in the same corridors as Matera if he keeps improving!!

You wouldnt find a bigger fan than me for our No7. But i will admit I was surprised when he finished with 10 brownlow votes last year.
It suggests to me he does catch the umpire's eye a bit more than other players.

Great to see him signed up until '09 and if his improvement continues then he might one day be able stand next to Brian in the eyes of the footy world.

There is no reason to doubt that Peakey will not improve dramatically further than where he is now, seeing how He is a really youngster in footy years.

Every challenge that has been chucked at him to date He has handled with ease.

The only problem with his old man was that he played with the wrong team

Maybe. I know he burned it up in the WAFL, and that the WAFL was strong back then, and I know that he had some sensational outings in the state side.
I watched him playing for Geelong. If he is as good as his ol' man was at Geelong I'd be disappointed.
