I was at the game mate and Peake was easily one of our best, 5 marks, 5 tackles and 3 goals from a small foward in a side that lost by 10 goals is a terrific performance, one of the few players who kept harrassing the opposition and who didn't turn the ball over everytime they got it.

Peake was good on the weekend. Will have to do well for more than one game to make up for the last 2 years.

Also am I being too cynical for thinking he has turned it around due to being in a contract year.

Gee, perhaps the fact that he missed most of one of those seasons with 2 broken collar bones and was a bit up and down on form when coming back might be more of a reason.

His game was near perfect. Hit targets, used his run and evasiveness to great effect. There's no pleasing some people.

I think its your (and others) judgement of his ability that was very average. The amount of bagging he cops on here is over the top. We have far worse to worry about.

Well apparently, the slack bastard only kicked 3 goals. Two of which were fanatstic running goals. Apart from that he was only everywhere running his arse into the ground.

Agree with others, one good game does not a player make but there is definitely a hint of confidence which wasn't there before. I think Browne has the same thing and agree with the sentiment that he tries too hard. A string of games would see Browne Dog start to kick a few goals and get the hang of the caper.
