A fine means it's legal for rich people.
There has been 2 sets of rules since the mid 90s.
This isnt new.

I did.Honestly, happy with that, he was never getting suspended.
Also let's be honest, you won't find many that wanted him suspended anyway.
Totally agree. I don't even think it's worth a fine. If you watch it at real speed he just braces to protect himself. There's going to be accidents, and players shouldn't automatically be found guilty everything there's a head clash.Regardless of Pendles or Toby Greene I don't think it is worth a week. To me that's a football accident Woz wasn't lined up from miles out, they both had eyes for the ball ad Pendles braced Woz didn't.

He’s gonna beat Boomer’s record mwahahahahaCorruptFL.
Collingwood hater logic lolFavourtism, jobs for the boys etc etc.
This should help Pendles try to recoup his lost billions!
the guy is 38 it’s just good man management also how is it an asterisk when it was a iffy suspension in the first place? Pendles is a class actAFL record for most games will forever have an *. Not to mention not playing majority of 1st quarters to protect him at the expense of his teammates. Poor leadership.
it was the pigeon wasn’t it?He should have been deregistered years ago for animal cruelty trying to kill a seagull with the sherrin, smh jk. In all seriousness he was always getting off, plays for a big club and had a perfect record
the guy is 38 give him a break lolHow anyone thinks that this anything but a manufactured outcome is just bizarre.
How do I know that it’s not an accidental collision?
Ask yourself, how many times do you see a player knock their team mate in the head in the same manner? If it’s unavoidable, it should happen just as often, right?
Maybe it is possible that a player can choose not to bump and hit an opponent in the head, but they do.
An insulting outcome to those who choose to bump and don’t hit the head and still get suspended.
Surprised he didn’t fracture a joint, you’re right.the guy is 38 give him a break lol
I stand correctedit was the pigeon wasn’t it?
everyone loves Pendles lolAbsolute joke. Different rules for the favourites.
Yes. Lance franklin got 2 weeks for it back in 2009, which started the whole "the head os protected" sagaI know I can’t post without bias…
But if you run at a player who’s standing still, they brace for impact and you get knocked out is the said player receiving weeks? I actually don’t know what Pendles was suppose to do?
Why does that matter? He broke the rules so should face the same consequences as everyone else.everyone loves Pendles lol
Pendles is a clean ball player, he wouldn't hurt a fly, this whole process was a disgrace sullying the great man's sporting reputationYou gotta laugh.
They have even manufactured an exemplary record for him.
The AFL has made it clear long before now it will stop at absolutely nothing to desecrate anything resembling a principle.
