With the game against Adelaide out of the way the remaing games are what we should be judging ourselves on. Most teams will be handed a walloping by Adelaide this season
Geelong needs to play positive football and must make it their mistake not wait for an opposition mistake. I would rather see us make a mistake trying to do something positive rather than turn the ball over going no-where.
The younger playes need game time and some of the more senior playes need to take stock of themselves. I know it is hard when your are losing, however this is when the character of the player shines out truly.
Our skill level is down at the moment as we see players miss targets either by hand or foot over a short distance. This we need to address especially with the repeat offendes, Ling, Kelly, corey. If we miss a target we should be at least putting the ball to our players advantage.
Talk of trading players and delisting some others does nothing for the players and the support staff, we need to ensure they perform at their best, it easy to criticise but it is a lot harder when you have to make the final decisons.
This should have been the season we pushed for a grand final but it would appear we may need to take stock and reload for the rest of this season and the next season will come soon enough, lets just remember to support or team through good and bad times.
