I think we need to pay our politicians more.

I know this sounds like crazy talk, but there are good reasons why. The most successful individuals in business life make $1 million + per annum(for a moderate company). Our PM makes a quater of that. We are not attracting the best people to run our country.

I think it's quite simple, pay competitive rates for the leaders and the best people will run our country in the most efficient way.
