Just heard that today Peter Vardy Retired

And you delisted Chris Lamb and 4 rookies, any Melbourne supporters got a problem with those delistings??

Would have preferred Carroll to go aswell but it seems like we are giving him a one year contract to prove himself. Lamb has had his chances and won't play again under Daniher, so it's time he went. Campbell stayed for one year and has gone. Carson has been here two years I think, same as Fisher who was runner-up in the VFL B&F so I'm a little suprised we delisted him. Molan has been delisted after injuries got the better of him since 2002.

With Vardy, Lamb, Carson, Fisher, Molan and Campbell gone, and Walsh, Thompson and Jolly traded off, our list is now down from 43 to 34 before the National Draft. Looks like we will run a bit thin in order to pay more in the cap.

Don't be surprised if Fisher is snapped up by us again. The bloke can definetly play thats for sure, if he doesn't i'd suggest a few other clubs would be having a good hard look at him.

As for Vards, i'm gonna miss him. Love him or ...... what am i saying no one could hate him, the guy's a true character. He's become a real mentor around the club so i hope he stays on in a supporting role.

Lamby was a lost cause a while ago but i tend to disagree with the negative comments around N.Carroll. He deserves more than what he gets. In his first season he scored more votes than any other first year player in the B+F and played more games than them aswell, not bad for a bloke who took a key forward every week. His big body and agility go very underated in at our club and would be a good asset in our senior backline.

I think the major tragedy story in our delistings is Molan, poor bugger, looked the goods as a teenager, then copped an areshole of runs injury wise. Good luck to him in the future.

Why am I surprised your sticking up for Carroll?

The guy cannot play football. It's simple.
