Petitions to remove the 10 team finals series and Dillon as CEO

Hi bay, I know I don't post on here as much as I used to and I know generally online petitions don't actually achieve anything in the grand scheme of things, but after the AFL's disgraceful decision to introduce a 10 team finals series, it realistically is the only way to make our voices heard. Sadly we all love our teams and the actual game too much to actually have enough people actually boycott games.

Petition to get rid of the final 10 and revert to the proper final 8 system.

Petition to remove Andrew Dillon as the CEO of the AFL.

If you guys could get as many people to sign these petitions as possible it would be appreciated. I don't use Facebook anymore so if you can share on your socials even better.

I for one salute our AFL overlord on a fantastic initiative In fact they should go one step further and introduce a bottom 8 round robin finals tournament with the top 2 tournament teams making up 7th and 8th.

Of course all round robin games will be classed as finals and will count as finals wins.

Dillon is just a puppet figure/patsy for Hutchy and the Media and Channel 7/Fox Conglomerate who have been pushing the wildcard finals idea for a while.

This was always going to happen, no matter who was so called running the AFL.

Count your chickens that there will be a twilight grand final in 2026, then a night GF annually from there on onwards

The AFL haven't cared what the fans think since they killed off Fitzroy and sold off Waverley Park in the 90s (hence losing a whole generation of fans from the south-east belt/Gippsland region)

I know a couple of people who have given up going to AFL games and just prefer watching their local footy teams on Saturday.

I'm actually in favour of a twilight grand final (as long as it starts around 4.30-5pm and no later), it would allow me to sleep in a bit more on Saturday morning before having a drinking sesh before the game, and would make it easier for me to have an all nighter afterwards the game.
