Yer only 1 tackle for Joel. But I still though he was in our best half a dozen or so. Won alot of contests down back.

As an objective observer, the Tiges forward line always looks better with pettifer in.

He is a good forward line rover (Roos have Campbell and Thomas), and with Brown is a match-up issue for the opposition.

three - which was better than 10 other players on our side - and equal with another 5 players. basically he was equal 7th in our tackling for the night.

add to that 22 possesion's - 8 marks & his two goals and at the least 2-3 assists - surely that shows the impact this bloke can have on a game, even when he is not "killing it".

i thought joel was really good last night - showed sure hands when we were being challenged - when many of our younger players started to panic against the bombers challenge - and let the greasy conditions get the better of them.

didn't drop a mark and kicked the ball really well all night - really happy with the way both petts and bowden have responded.
