Lantana! The film that I just never get around to seeing for some reason. Much like Moulin Rouge. I guess I just have this perception that I won't like 'em.

Yeah his squirm-making presence in the psych interview scenes is palatable. He makes you (and the Barbara Hershey character) believe he's doing the husband even though he never says anything..it's just his presence....very well done.

Are you saying it was Phelps best performance (which I agree with)

or that Phelps was the best performer in Lantana? (which is not unreasonable but a big call considering the depth of performance by almost everyone in that movie)


my favourite Phelphs line is from Baywatch when he first arrives and calls himself

"Shark hunter, virgin converter"
