He is a pretty good player, but why would we want him?
He is just another Brown, Walsh, Ward, Williams, Whelan etc. We hardly need another flanker.
If we do get him, it should be with pick 52. pick 3 in the PSD is too high a pick to use on him, and should be reserved for a better player (Ray Hall, Copeland etc).

Ready isn't a hack. He will surprise you guys if you pick him up. He was a highly rated junior whose career has been interupted by injury. He would have stayed at the Eagles but apparently he has had some sort of off-field trouble.

Read is a carbon copy of Nathan Brown. I like him as a player but we don't need anymore running half backs.

Ready is a good player, but he doesn't seem like the type of guy who would fit into the Demon structure - but from I reckon, it looks like you guys will pick him up.
And i really hope someone does pick him up - he's been one of my fave eagle players since he joined!

Yep I like the sound of Shane Morrison for pick 3.
There is still a chance that Copeland will be available, imo the best on offer so far.
Personally, I think we are craxy if we don't take Copeland if he's available. He's a premiership player who did a fantastic job on Buckley in the GF.

Copeland in my opinion is not a whole lot better than Houlihan.
I reckon Copeland looks better because of the class around him at Brisbane. Put him in a struggling team like ours & he mightn't have the same impact.
If we can bolster the midfield through the National draft then perhaps we can get a crumbing forward like Motlop in the pre-season?

I'm warming to Read, if it wasnt for the fact we're already overloaded with players who play his exact role, I'd gladly use pick 3 in the psd on him.
Just looking at some photos from training and he looks like a monster compared to most of our players.
Read has never been a power player or anything and in most sides his size and strength wouldnt stand out but compared to our players he looks like a hulk. It's definitely an area that needs looking at.

That's a good point, I will steer clear of the Hunter photos when making comparisons next time.
Of all the delistees Read is the player I like most with Morrisson and Copeland just behind.

Copeland informed coach Leigh Matthews of his decision late this afternoon.
The 22-year-old is expected back on the training track with his teammates on Monday.
“Because there has been a fair bit of conjecture about Robbie’s future, I can confirm he has re-signed with us,” Matthews said.
“We are very pleased he has re-signed with the club.”
Looks like Read is our man unless Houlihan slips through.
