Penny Taylor and her Phoenix Mercury beat Indiana Fever 94-86 in Game 5 to win the title for the second time in three years. Penny has done so well to come back from ankle surgery and then copping an elbow to the chops in game 2 to come back and help her team win.

Cappie Pondexter and Diana Taurasi were just huge in the final game as Taurasi won the playoff MVP award. Good win to the Mercury and congrats to our Penny.

Bad luck to our other aussie Tully Bevilaqua who was on the losing end.
