Gave it a go for the FTA's who might not have seen the game, it's nothing special but its a decent recap of the Tigers instead of just 5 second cut highlights at least from bigpond etc.

Part 1: First half mostly, plays leading to goals. (about 8 minutes)

Part 2: 3rd quarter and start of the last, still mostly plays leading to goals but got extended lead ups to them. (About 10 minutes)

Part 3: Getting down to the end with a few good passages of play then the final 3+ minutes of the game. (About 9 minutes)

great work there Phoenix, i missed the game and was great to watch that. few things i noticed was that we were not paid alot of free kicks inside our 50 that were either in the back or too high. the defensive pressure from our forwards was sensational. morton has been good at that all year, looked like every time port were trying to clear from defense they had to do with a tiger player right on their tail. Hughes looked strong as well i think at one stage there they had 3 players jump against him and he just stood to hold the grab! encouraging signs!

havent seen them yet, will do eventually, but one highlight i did see on the box was the Polo fend off in the pocket, give to ?? and goal....;)

off to Jack Riewoldt that one. was good work by Polo hopefully he can get some confidence and keep his spot in the team. he will be a handy player when he gets right

As Suds has said, the give was to Jack for his goal. (A couple of sweet baulks from Jack as well)
Polo needs to get a real crack now that he has got back in.
He did a number of real quality inside-mid type things on Saturday. A couple of typical, "expects and takes the body contact from an oponent, whilst swinging those Dr Gadget arms free to dish off an excellent handball" signature Polo moves.
Whenever he is in a one-on-one battle to win a loose ball I am quite confortable because Polo wins more than he loses of these.
Happier when Marco is in our 22. :thumbsu:

Didnt see the match so thanks for that.

I saw deledio didnt get a lot of the ball but he seemed to be involved with every good play we had.

Tambling looked like he had an important last quarter. If he starts stringing 4 quarters together look out. Also notice that all his knockers have disappeared this season. Still needs some more size, he bounced off some players while trying to tackle.

I've read a few things about JON struggling early but had 3 or 4 important touches i saw in that last quarter too. The kid will make it but it will be a long process.

Cotchin is so classy, needs to bulk too.

Were the umpires that bad all day?? We should have had 4 or 5 blantent free kicks inside 50. Was it both ways or just against us??

That deledio handball out of the pack to browny for our first goal was just sublime. Pure brilliance. :thumbsu:

I know Lids' kicking is what we all rave about in terms of disposal...but geez he knows how to fire out a long handball to space...reminds of some of the 30m bombs Vossy used to dish out in his heyday;)

I'm with you on this one Emperor.
It has been particularly noticeable this year that Lids is winning contested footy and then banging out long "frozen rope" hanballs to the advantage of a team-mate.
Not like the slow, upside-down parabola loopy kind that the likes of Raines & Johnson (sorry) are so good at!

Must be those massive guns that Lids now has that gives him the power. :thumbsu:
