was just wondering if anyone could recomend any good books to help me learn the basics off photoshop. any on line sources would also be appreciatted.

www.worth1000.com has great tutorials, helpful people, and above all, great inspiration - this is what you can do when you get good.

www.photoshopcafe.com is occasionally helpful.

If you are just starting out, and have enough cash for a book, but not enough for an actual course (which I'd recommend if you're serious about it) - Photoshop for Dummies comes with good reviews.
