I think he is going to be good for us. First half of the first game he played a little Hawthorn, but in the second half he seemed to be getting it (North Melbourne that is) and then this week he certainly seemed to be going a lot harder. It will take at least half the season to get him to play how we expect, but he has been at Hawthorn a long time and we all know that they are a different breed down there these days. I am loioking forward to him improving as the year goes on.

Abit 'over the top' there Rooboy96. I would prefer to think that North recruiting dept working double OT in this situation to get the whole deal happening. We are the fortunate ones as Adelaide & Richmond got the ball rolling with Kane Johnson and that got the wheels in motion.
If WC wasn't as great as he was... would Adelaide ever consider him ? Being partial South Aussie, would the Crows see any benefit ? Hasbeen is not word/s I'd associate with Wayne Carey. I'd use the phrase, ONE of the games GREATEST !! Besides, Adelaide won silverware with him so it wasn't all a lost cause.

Must admit I didn't like the idea of recruiting him, but last two games he showed a little hardness. I have a feeling he is going to be a good player for us and part of the best 22. Just early thoughts.
He does have to learn to be a Kangaroo as he looks like someone who doesn't know who his teammates are or what they are going to do next.
But I like what I am seeing early days.

Well what i have seen i have liked he is a goer and puts in and as long as he does that he will have my support.We have along way to go and we will get better as the season goes on.Wat we need is a ruckman that gets it to our on ballers.We need to play hale and mcintosh and let them get used to it and lets see how good they can be for this footy club.
