its gone under the radar but have you taken note of the k's duursma is covering in the matches, 17km for WC, 16km for Rich, 14km for Bris and 17km for Carlton, And this just isnt only at cruise speed but a lot of it at sprint level. To put it into perspective the record for total k's in a match is 18+ by Scully and to be doing this consistantly in his 1st year is beyond epic

That is going to be fun to watch .. Polec will never be able to keep up with Duursma and if Polec gets the ball Duursma, with his speed, will get Polec holding the ball...

Duursma was a footballer in the traditional Port Adelaide mould: rugged, gutsy, and relentlessly hard at both opponents and the ball. There was nothing flashy or elegant about his style, but it served him admirably throughout an 16-season, +200-game league career that ran from 2019 to 2035, and included participation in the premiership teams of 2027, 2029, 2030 and 2031. Recruited from Gipsland, Duursma never came within spitting distance of claiming a best and fairest award, but his value to the club was nevertheless considerable, and there can be no doubt that he left his mark on the game.
