Hodge.... as said earlier. Love how hard at it he is. and after going to the G on Sunday and seeing G Ablett in action I would say he is a close second.

He's essentially a CHF/FF.....same as Browny.

For what we need right now, I'd take Ablett because he's a fast, highly skilled midfielder who's capable of kicking running goals as well as bobbing up for an occasional mark near goal.

Would fit ideally into our side IMO.

Not sure about the big forwards such as Franklin or Pav (although both would be extremely valuable). I'd lean towards one of those really explosive, ball winning, skillful (in disposal) mid ALA Kerr, Hodge, Judd & Ablett.

Probably....but my point is that Pavlich's best value is as a forward.(like Reiwoldt)

We arguably have the best "power" forward in the comp already.

But there has been a "spark" missing in the midfield, ever since (dare I say it) the departure of Aka.

We desperately need a midfielder/onballer with creativity and skill top make the best use of forwards like Brown (and hopefully, next year) , Bradshaw.

That's why I'd take an Ablett any day

Probaly be pick 7-15 in last years draft, IMO.

Every year they try and hark up about how good the draft is. Last years was exceptional, however the media have been saying he is the greatest ever player of the TAC Cup.

Anyway back onto topic, we would have to go for a midfielder. I would love a Bartel/Kerr type player. Just a hard nut who finds the footy and uses it well.

But my first pick would be Jonathan Brown if he was on another team. He is the Most Valuable Player in the competition, by a long stretch. We have a good team, but sometimes during the year we were unbelievably reliant on him. If he was missing all year, along with Bradshaw god knows what would of happened in our forward line. Merrett and Mills FF/CHF...
