Anyone have experience doing this stuff? Started a couple of months ago and it's quite the shiznit. No six-pack yet but.
 
I need to start something to get flexible. I was thinking yoga, tho, but only because they do it at uni cheap.:D

Yeah, I do the mat exercises (not the ball), as per Joseph Pilates's original teachings. Beware the imitations - everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.

I use a book (Pilates Body in Motion - Alycea Ungaro) that uses the traditional methods. Having a back problem (my physio once said I had the stiffest back she'd ever seen!), I find the exercises have given me more strength, particularly in the core muscles surrounding the spine, and after approx 6 months of doing 10 minutes every day, I'd say I'm better off.

Worth a look, but not for everone.
