So hard to find good pillows. I like thick pillows that are firm - every pillow a find in a store is always too soft.

your friends mum bought you pillows?... am i the only one who finds this weird
Maybe she has a preference when she stays over ;)

saw the tv ads for them on the weekend, however reviews on them have not been so kind.

might still take a risk and give them a shot.

I got mine cheap thru my book club at school. (yeh book club is weird and wonderful, the occasional non book item pops up). It's not bad, neck and shoulder pain I'd been getting is pretty much gone since I've been using it. If you like to sleep on your front tho, it's a tad uncomfortable. Better side.

I like pillows to be as soft as they can be so that my head sinks down to almost bed-level.

Yep I buy the kiddy pillows. Gotta get your head down low to prevent too much blood flowing upwards which gives you a bad sleep.

I've been getting neck pain so maybe i should give it a go.

Get a soft rectangle one. Usually they do the trick.
