oh i also found no one in australia has been killed by a pit bull before. I am talking pure breed to not some cross breed mongrel

Kenny is actually a purebred "Bandogge", they are an acknowledged breed, Neo Mastiff X APBT is a "Bandogge" :p

They aren't, but seeing as the anti APBT people are using American stats, then I have a right to use American breed standards. :D

no, they're not.

We have one, and I swear i'll kill it. The mutt has destroyed the whole back yard with his bare teeth. It even dug under the house and chewed electrical wires and shorted the house electricity out, Seth (the pittball) is also missing a couple of teeth now.
You now need 8 foot fences, and dangerous dog sign out the front of your house, and a fluro dog collor to walk them. I would never own one. Thankfully, we're just minding this dog until December.

As usual, more Mantis droppings

The American Canine Association does not recognise "bandogges" as a breed, and using the word "purebred" when discussing this mongrel concoction is a slur on all TRUE purebreds, eg. Norwegian Elkhounds

refer here

Want more proof? read this --
The Bandogge, or Bandog if you prefer, is not a purebred dog in the way we know the word purebred. The words Bandogge and Bandog are being used on dogs of mixed Molosser ancestry, most often with Pit Bull as one of parent components.

The name Bandog, or Bandogge, comes from the old Saxon word "banda", the Saxon word for chain. It was used on watchdogs chained at day and released at night, to carry out its watching and garding duties. It is quite obvious that the name was used on any chained watchdog, Mastiffs, Bulldogs and dogs of mixed ancestry, but it is also certain that these chained dogs must have been of a recognisable watchdog type, which eliminates all dogs which was not of more or less Molosser blood.

This means that any Molosser cross of today could rightfully be called a Bandog.

here is my source

And your point, that site said nothing bad about Bandogges, by the way, have you replied to the people who were upset with your anti APBT thread.

I am guessing no, you are only obsessed with me.

My point was that you supplied incorrect information, AS USUAL

Regarding any replies needed from me, I'll do them in the fullness of time, when I'm ready, not when you nag for them

As you already so obviously know, I'm rather busy with a number of personal issues, that require my attention and presence

"you are only obsessed with me" get over yourself Sandie, everyone else already have

Kenny

I'm SURE that Kenny is a wonderful dog. He is half APBT, has a wonderful and responsible owner, what more could a dog want:D

So how much do you PERSONALLY know about the breed? How much experience do YOU have with APBT's? or even any dog for that matter:rolleyes:

I PERSONALLY know a guy who has a pitbull, and it is an ok dog. It changes mood quite quickly though, From friendly to rough play, to aggressive.

I PERSONALLY have a friend who owns a rottie. Nice dog, placid.

I PERSONALLY have been attacked by a German Shpard, a pit bull, and a coupla of little yappie dogs. I KNOW which one scared me the most.

Now, dont give me any of this "what do you know" shyte. I know enough, and i have researched enough to realise that the breed is a dangerous breed.

Oh, and  to you too.

Oh, I guess if you have been "attacked" by so many dogs, especially a GSD and an APBT, then you must have some serious battle scars...? Did you have to go to hospital? Or is your idea of being attacked a growl / bark? (just asking).

You know one APBT so therefor you have done your
research?

Like I have said before, any breed of dog is dangerous in the wrong hands, but also any breed of dog is a good dog in the right hands.

GS tore my leg open. Pitbull shredded my GP and nearly broke my leg. Both were nasty bite...the Pit bull scared me more because nothing i could do would make it let go. the GS left after a few kicks.

you obviously dont read other peoples posts. What is it with you? I said i knew personally 1 pitbull, AND i have done research as well. Here, let me quote it for you : "I know enough, and i have researched enough to realise that the breed is a dangerous breed".

See?

your response was a lame attempt to re-interperate my words.

And again  to you too...

do you even know what that is supposed to mean??

idiot

Like I have said before, any breed of dog is dangerous in the wrong hands, but also any breed of dog is a good dog in the right hands.

Except certain breeds (such as the pit bull) which are intrinsically aggressive dogs.

Research doesn't mean listening to the media
 To really know something, you must have the experience. Your mate has one, and you were bitten by one, so that's TWO APBT's you have been in contact with. If you think you know a breed after all that reseach then you'd better do some extensive reseach like speak to a breeder, owners and the people who deal with the purebred APBT's.
In a line up, could you even pick the APBT? Most people can't. Including myself alot of the time.

Idiot? Ooh, that's a big word for a kid...

how about you go out and have a look at the source material? If you think speaking to breeders is the only way of researching a breed, you are seriously mistaken. You assume my only research has been those two contacts. You have no idea at all do you.?

OOps, sorry, obviously at 20 you have had so much experience in the world that you know everything. I am sorry. I bow down to your incredible wisdom.

please try to think your posts through before you actually put them up for other people to read.

and yes, you are an idiot. So, please come up with something worthwhile to read, or stop posting in this topic.

I never said that I knew everything, but I know about this breed.
BECAUSE I HAVE DONE MY RESEACH.

Do you learn to drive a car by reading a book? Sure, you get the basics, but you never really know until someone has passed on there knowledge to you and you actually have the experience of driving.
