There was a bit of play where he linked up three times down the ground. I was also so impressed with his evasive skills. He seems to have pure footballer instincts which was evident from the video of his under 18 championships games. If you didn't know if he is a left footer or right it is impossible to tell because he is so efficient and balanced on both. He is probably the most natural kick in team. No way he can be dropped this week.

well, i have mentioned this before, but barry mitchell reckons pitt is already the best kick in our squad....... with a squad like ours which is now highly skilled that is high praise. he is composed and seems pretty hard at it as well. can not fault his performances so far this year and he is a very exciting talent :thumbsu:

A couple of wayward kicks today but great poise and we know how highly his kicking is rated normally. Another gem, the club just keeps finding them.

Smart footballer with good skills.
Cool as under pressure.
Another great recruit.

Considering he was rated as one of the rawest players in the draft, its surprising to see him come on like he has.

I think you can see the advantage of having bid bodied players to protect the kids in the middle, something made even more obvious when you look at the gold coast.

As long as our recruiters just keep adding skillful kids who are calm under pressure - sky is the limit.

I just can not wait to see this kid with 30 + games and another pre-season under his belt.

Imagine players like Fyfe, Pitt, Morabito,Walters and Crichton with 50 games under their belt. Very exciting indeed!:D:thumbsu:

I like it how he and Hilly were sharing it between them coming out of the back line, and how Hilly was giving the responsibility to Pitt alot of the time - his left is as good or better than most of of our left footers bar Hill and Walt. Bring on Mich Richie

Watched the 1st quarter again and definately noticed the Pendlebury in him. Smooth operator, looks to have plenty of time and makes good decisions.

Lots of upside in the kid

He was ok today, good poise. A few of his kicks he tried to thread too finer needle. But not bad for a 2nd gamer.
The wind meant a lot of missed targets.

Generally, if you look back three years ago we had Bell, Josh Carr, Matty Carr Schammer and Hasleby as our primary midfielders. All slow, with poor kicks.

Now we have a plethora of skillful players who use the ball really well by foot, have height and decent speed. We have increased the size of the team have a variety of good marks. We have drafted and traded well.

So Harvey has really changed the whole team around. Meanwhile the previous management have worked their magic for Melbourne and after three seasons we can see the fruits of their labours.

he's gaining confidence - still makes me smile watching him tackle people bigger than him, in the same way it makes me smile when ballas takes out someone twice his height.

showed off a few classy moves in the match - apart from the handball to tambling, he made up for it later in the first quarter in making a couple of adelaide players look silly.

i was trying to assess his positioning relative to fyfe during the match
