Geez Portia and Rick, even if you can't get into the idea of winning the SANFL premiership in and of itself, how can you not love the idea of how much it will piss off SANFL fans?!

Sorry I don't get the desire for success to make others unhappy. Powa yaaa

When people already froth at the mouth over the sheer fact of your existence its hard to care much about a little extra froth, and if you do it means they're winning

Nothing wrong with being passionate about the Maggies, nothing wrong if we aren't either. Macca provided the balance and excitement :)

I'd love to see what rule changes the SANFL would implement next year if the Maggies smash the Eagles in the grand final. They'll probably make us play blindfolded: we'd still beat North Adelaide though.....

I enjoyed the show as always.

On the ruck discussion, I don't know how you could talk for close to ten minutes on PAFC's 2016 ruck division and not make mention once about what happens if WADA rubs Ryder out for the year (or longer).

I don't know if you have been following the drugs thread but there's a pretty serious risk we're going to lose Paddy and Angus next year. I hope the club has been doing some contingency planning.

Good points about Karl Amon in highlighting his strengths as a player who can kick a long range goal, we're not exactly blessed with this sort of player so it's pleasing to have someone with this ability outside of Hartlett.

Nice that these kids coming through all seem to have their own superpower, Amon with the golden leg, Ah Chee with the booming handball, Gray with the hairy feet.

Feel like Ah Chee and Sam Gray have just given some of our lesser lights a big whack; "you call that a breakout? This is a breakout"

Yeah we let our standards for new players coming into the side become extremely low

I just get the impression that the club has talen an almighty kick up the backside in 2015, and everybody involved is hell bent on making amends next year. But yeah: talk is cheap - we'll only know for sure once the new season is underway.

I'm with FishingRick04 on his 'umpires hate Aaron Young' theory, I've noticed it too. I don't know what he did to piss off the umpiring fraternity but they have been screwing him all year.

At least we have round 1 at home, so the AFL can't screw us over to such a degree with preseason scheduling, so it's unlikely to be a cluster**** right from the word go again.
Wouldn't it be a pleasant surprise to start the year against North in Adelaide. I'm sick of playing that mob at Emptyhad: it'd be nice to give them a first up flogging here!!!

Man bun versus balding, bald or traditional hairstyle.

Good to see I'm not the only one. Pin drop was heard when I mentioned it.
