We're lucky enough to be invited back for Season 2008 and hope to start tomorrow with some interviews with Pfeiffer, Ellard, Hill and Joseph.

If you have any questions for them or know of any information that would be interesting for us to use, please let us know through this thread or via PM,

Does Pfieffer know this will potentially be his last chance and that he should make the most of it and develop into the footballer that the crows were hoping he would turn into upon selecting him so early in the draft!?

He's come out and said this himself on more than one occasion IIRC, why do we have to keep bashing him over the head with it.....lets try for some original positive questions?? :thumbsu:

Where on the field do they believe they'll play the majority of their football and in what role?

How have they handled moving away from home for the first time?

Pfieffer
-How's the ankle?
-Is there anything that particularly surprised you about the way Adelaide does things and how Carlton do things?
-How does it feel to join a real club?

Ellard
-How have you found your first AFL preseason?
-Are you aiming to make their AFL debut in 2008?

Other than Judd who are you most exicted about playing alongside?

How does it feel to walk into an AFL club for the first time (or a new club in the case of Darren)? What kind of induction program did you go through when you first got to the club? How were you introduced to your new teammates, your coaches and the broader Carlton community?

What did you learn from your experiences in Africa? Did it really help bring the group together as a team bond experience? Did it help you realise just how lucky you are, not just to be on a AFL list but to live in a country like Australia?

For Pfeiffer: Interested if he draws motivation from guys like Murph given they were both standout performers at the 05 U18 carnival, and what position has Ratts told him to work towards. Also, have the shit stains washed off after the week he spent with Richmond?

For Ellard: Has there been any guidance from Kade Simpson in regards to finding your place in the world of the giants.

When did you die and turn into an Idol or So you think you can dance judge? :p

Actually used to cut a fair rug in my hey day. YOU try making hot moves to Noosha Fox's Single Bed!

Saddens me that youngsters today think the seventies were easy. Pfft.

I have no doubts about it....

I was still playing doctors and nurses in the 70's.

Who is Noosha Fox?

Yeah, nah - you taught me that (your "search button" clipart a particular favourite).

Noosha Fox was a singer with a glam band called Fox. She had this song S-s-s-single Bed that although terrible kept getting massive ongoing airplay around 1976. A bit like Fernando by Abba - an absolute stinker of a song but at No 1 forever. Go figure.

Knock yourself out.

I'm sure the only thing that song is good for is as an obscure trivia question on spicks and specks  I can see why you had difficulties during the 70's.......never heard of Barry White? :p

Great set:thumbsu:

Thanks for the genuine submissions, the interviews were done today.

Next up will be Hill and Joseph, but all guys who havent played for us yet in Benjamin, Edwards, Armfield and Browne are slated for an interview, so if you know something, or want to know something, please let us know.

Is Pfeiffer related to Paul Pfeiffer from the Wonder Years? (the question is for Pfeiffer)

Damn... Missed out by that much!

Question for Hill: Who are you?

Question for Joseph: Who are you?

Cheers.

Yeah....right.....hmmmmph.

It was felt that by broadening the question base we could make these hit the mark a bit better. If its going to be a sideshow then you'd have the question the value of trying.

Fellas, rather than play the "poor us we don't really know what to do" card, why not set out some decent questions all on your own? How hard can it be? Your Carlton supporters aren't you? You obviously have an interest in the media and interviewing.

These players are new to all of us - you included. Get on with it and show us how good you can be.

PS: Bring back the eggs.
