Brown - great
McDonald - captain next year
Wheatley - competed well, great kicking at times
Jones - superstar, but I think he screwed McLaren daughter, you can't pay those holding the balls for any other reason
Green - got the boys together after the Bell incidence, captain if McDonald doesnt want it
Johnstone - I really think he cares about the club, in a strange way
Newton - goal tonight was brilliant, and showed a bit up the ground, injured???
Ferguson - really came into the game well, shame he doesn't have any size about him, otherwise I'd keep him
Sylvia - unreal second half, worked his groin into the ground, i have seen enough to start singing his praises
Robbo - i think hes had enough for this year, great effort again tonight
Carroll - solid, could be back in a big way next year
Neitz - if only he kicked straight, great effort for the big fella
McLean - needs a pre-season but we saw glimpses tonight, this could be the setback he had to have before becoming top notch
Dunn- unreal goal, not an out and out midfielder yet, who knows what some fitness can do, great work in the backline, would mind seeing him there for the rest of the year
Bate - injured, battled hard
Jamar - i think he has a crack, not sure whether hes up for it
White - pretty solid game, can the umps through it up high enough though, poor Jeff was bloody unable to get a tap
Pickett - when hes on hes on, when hes not hes useless, tonight was in between, who knows what the future lies
Holland - what a tragic way to end your career, been sat on by a fat useless tosser
Bell - Ben Johnson is a ********
Davey - how many times has he done a hammy around rounds 18-21, set the Dunn goal up, not a bad half of a game
Bode - an inch away from kicking a goal deep in the last quarter, did a good job on lockyer early in the game

Good work Master Bate. Good ideas and quite accurate.
Bloody shame about Holland. Awful way to possibly end a very good AFL career.
I hadn't thought of McDonald as captain. Don't know if he'll get it but he's of the right calibre to be captain.
Go Dees

Neitz - if only he kicked straight, great effort for the big fella

What I also noticed about Neita, guaranteed I wasn't the only one who noticed this. However it looked like Neita was moving a lot more freely and perhaps running the best he has all year.

Yep noticed it last week, thought this week might have been his time to go bang 7 goals, maybe it will be saved for next year.
Whilst also giving credit to myself I said we might need another defender (was pushing Bizzel or Ward), originally wanted Newton out for a rest (which was the wrong call, he took my opinion of him even higher tonight) but Bate would have been a good one to leave out, don't think he was fully right before his injury. Would have freed up more run in Dunn/Bode/Brown through the midfield, but no one can predict injuries.

Pretty good effort Master Bate. Just added a few comments.

Brown - greatHe got a lot of it but was unaccountable and turned it over too much. His second half was passable.
McDonald - captain next year Junior as skipper would be like Vandenberg. I'd pick Green over McDonald.
Wheatley - competed well, great kicking at times
Jones - superstar, but I think he screwed McLaren daughter, you can't pay those holding the balls for any other reason
Green - got the boys together after the Bell incidence, captain if McDonald doesnt want it
Johnstone - I really think he cares about the club, in a strange way Johnno is too lazy. Tonight made me think he should be top of our list of tradables.
Newton - goal tonight was brilliant, and showed a bit up the ground, injured??? Impressed me on the wing tonight. Another string to his bow.
Ferguson - really came into the game well, shame he doesn't have any size about him, otherwise I'd keep him Loved his game tonight. Perhaps saved his career?
Sylvia - unreal second half, worked his groin into the ground, i have seen enough to start singing his praises Tackles like a madman but needs to get more of it. I still have faith in him.
Robbo - i think hes had enough for this year, great effort again tonight
Carroll - solid, could be back in a big way next year Excellent effort on a bloke who is really too big for him.
Neitz - if only he kicked straight, great effort for the big fella Real Captains performance tonight. If only he could have slotted a couple of those set shots early on.
McLean - needs a pre-season but we saw glimpses tonight, this could be the setback he had to have before becoming top notch
Dunn- unreal goal, not an out and out midfielder yet, who knows what some fitness can do, great work in the backline, would mind seeing him there for the rest of the year In my eyes this was his best game. Defensive pressue was terrific and he used the ball well.
Bate - injured, battled hard
Jamar - i think he has a crack, not sure whether hes up for it
White - pretty solid game, can the umps through it up high enough though, poor Jeff was bloody unable to get a tap

Brown turned it over too much but his last quarter was very good, even though he didn't get that much of it.

Ferg needs to be told you can actually kick the ball but still i didn't think he was up to AFL standard and he's showing me up.

Green was alright

Newton was very good, couldve held a few more marks but played well.

Bate didn't have a good game.

McLean didn't have a good game. I can't remember the last time he broke the 15 possesion barrier.

Jones is a great player but he needs to learn that he can't break every tackle.

Neita's as gutsy as they come and he could've played out a fairytale tonight if he kicked straighter. Inspiration.

I was only going to do Doggy Brown's review but got carried away.

Unfortunately Bate is quite easily the softest sheepdog in the league by a country mile. And im not just going on lasty nights game. Skillfull, but as soft as a sunday morning crap

Pickett - when hes on hes on, when hes not hes useless, tonight was in between, who knows what the future lies

If Pickett can show me some sort of aggression in these last 2 games then I want him kept.

Pickett's Mission: Flatten a docker and flatten a blue.

If he can assert his presence and let the Dockers and the Blues know he is still there and will knock someone flat then he's worth the keep.

I loved it last night on numerous occasions a Collingwood player would look behind him, see Choppy Pickett and proceed to shit themselves.

THAT IS WHAT I WANT EVERY GAME!!!!

He doesn't have a grat kick and he dropped a mark going back into a pack on the flank. He'll be alright though.

White was rubbish last night. Got beaten in the hit outs by Guy Richards and Chris Bryan  And didn't have as much affect around the ground as usual. Very disappointing.

If Pickett can get himself a good fitness base he should definitely be kept for next year. His presence on the field is great and he reads the play quite well. Also a fairly good user of it, just needs the fitness to get into the action a bit more.

Newton was great too. Bye bye brad miller. He even spent time in the centre square!! Possible rising star this week?

I'm starting to warm to the idea of Neitz running around as skipper for one more year, hes still the leader of that team, Junior isn't.
Whilst Neitz is there he will always be the leader, like Hird at the dons. Maybe elect Junior as the only vice captain with McLean and Green deputy vices and Bruce, Robbo, Jones and others as part of the leadership group. Kind of puts McLean and Green up for the big job at the end of 08 and rewards Junior for consistent tough footy.

Sorry, but I don't see that about him. Maybe because I am bias and I want to look for the positives in our young players. But I have never really noticed him being afraid of a contest. In saying that, he isn't an aggressive player either.

Apart from flash's handball to dunn , and that clearance where he burnt off a couple of blokes and kicked it to bate (i think it was bate?) i thought he did nothing. i stand corrected if someone can give me reasons why im wrong. maybe i was too busy trying to fight collingwood supporters..
