Players names on threads.

We seem to have a very healthy number of new posters. Even i have to think
twice about abbrevations of players names, and nicknames used on our board.
If we are to continue down this road it would be usefull for newbies to be able
to access some sort of database/ listing of current players and their nicknames
on our board. Anyone agree?

Yes but some Geelong fan had to ask who "NOG" was. I think its a good idea to have a sticky thread which has a list of all players names and the abbrevations used.

Not that I do anymore.. or even survived for more than a few posts... but

if you ASK the "roomies" they will fill you in with every possible dimension and fact imaginable... be careful the "fantasy" will be clearly marked with bushing red!!!!

Every board has them and that is the intrigue of posting .. just have some balls and ask if, if, it is NOT already obvious!!!

Meh, I guess I'm one of the new posters referred to, and I picked up the nicknames pretty fast. NOG was probably the only one I didn't get straight away, but given context, wasn't too hard to figure out.
