I thought a thread talking about rookies or low priced players who are about to play their 3rd game would be beneficial for everyone. A simple thread talking about weather or not said player is worth trading in or not. I think we should keep it to players worth under 250k.

I'll start with 3 who could potentially play game number 3 this week.

Josh Kelly- clear jet who is at an awkward sort of price. If you have dunstan, Ellis, polec, Tyson and or Langdon in your mids then I think it probably makes it tough and not worth while trading him in. If you have any other rookies outside of them get on board. Also potentially downgrading daisy to Kelly could reap long term benefits.

Kade Koldashnij - looks a player. Again at that awkward early draft pick price. Very tempted to part with Georgiou for him.

Patrick Ambrose - I apologise but I'm not sure what his injury status is but if fit I would assume he would come straight back in. If you have JKH then trade, if you have a mixture of Impey, Taylor, Rohan and the like unless they are dropped I wouldn't consider it.

I would love other players and people's thoughts on the above.

Should have called the thread 'Bubble Boys'. :thumbsu:

Dylan Buckley also on the bubble. However, I would pass on him as there will be better options for a downgrade in a week or 2.

good thread idea!

Ambrose will be out for 2/3 weeks with a Quad. problem is that when he is ready to play, Ryder and Bellchambers will be back so he'll have trouble finding his way back in the team

Lewis Taylor from Brissy, playing his 4th game but only increased 20k due to his sub affected score of 5 in round 1. he's still well and truly on the bubble at 137k :thumbsu:

this thread will be popular in the next few weeks with Matty Crouch, Fasolo, Cripps, etc getting a few games

Jack Steven declared fit to play. Will he be Sub for his 1st game? Will he return through VFL? Please be sub for 1st game back!

Tom Derickx from Sydney... not sure he'll stick around though, Tippett coming back in soon

might take Pykes spot the way Pyke has been playing

ALL rookie priced players on the bubble as at the end of Rd3 (played 2 matches) inj*

P Ambrose* FWD
K Kolodjashnij DEF
D Currie RUC
J Laidler DEF
V Michie* MID
D Buckley MID
T Detrickx RUC
L Jong MID
L McCarthy FWD
T O'Brien FWD
Z Merrett FWD

I have Pyke unsure if i should get Tom Derickx just unsure if tiptruck will do any rucking.

I honestly can't see the point of having an R3 or R4 this year. It's not like Dx or Currie can be relied on to play during the byes when you really need them or make much $.

True and its not like they have a great b/e either a -50 b/e would be the kicker in the trade.

Juddy, Timtam & Gingy hate to disagree but the contributors on this forum in 2014 are far far far more active (so far) than in 2013.

I'm loving the so called newbies with varied opinions and directions. Certainly makes for a more interactive diverse discussion group

just my 5 cents worth

hurry up teams!

I think if BF had a rule that once a week everyone could troll someone on the blues board then report back on their action that would make for many many happy faces.

Its thursday - and thursday is cans and teams. As teams are not yet ready and the cans (stubbies actually) are cold, I'm having a beer.

Internet cheers!

Which reminds me I have to put some Grolschs in the freezer in preparation for the teams.

Will need those beers when teams come out I reckon.

Wingard out!
Enright still out!

Farkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!

I don't have a problem with the way Jiska is moderating the supercoach thread for the most part, it would be a pretty tough job so cudos to Jiska for volunteering to do it.

Not cool though when you laugh at someone's player getting poleaxed though.

I never laughed at McEvoy when he was a late withdrawal.

Respect to everyones sc players fellas is all I'm asking! :thumbsu:

Don't forget them! I lost 2 Asahi that way the other night :(:(

Hah!

Yeah I have done that a few times.

Usually if you sit them in the sink for a few hours after they have accidentally been carbon freezed you can still sort of save them by letting them defrost.

However they don't quite taste the same after that though.

Did anyone else just casually glance at the new thread title and read it as "players on the blob"?

always let them defrost in the top of the fridge, keep them cold and drink them at the end of the next session

you'll never know the difference.

1st tip when they go into the freezer, not on their side but standing straight up if possible (less likely to explode)

Thanks for the tip bro. :thumbsu:

BF SC board is evolving, plenty of regulars with a mix of new talent. :thumbsu:

Gradually, as the season goes along, many will drop off, along with their interest, with the diehards still posting strongly.

All good, :cool::thumbsu:

Done that before! You're right, they lose something. Maybe their soul..

Unfortunately my Japanese friends exploded. Taking out one of the missus' tuppaware containers with them! Heard about it all bloody day..

Jackson Paine one that may be on the bubble in coming weeks. ($160k)
