So this is the first week that the players price has gone up or down. I was expecting some of the rookies like Barlow to increase heaps due to a >100 point average but he's only $220k. How long does he have to keep this up to be valued the same as the top mids?

A while, to be short. Someone with a better memory than me will be able to explain the calculations and formulas better, but players slowly rise and drop to the price they should be at.

sorry not sure the answer to your question, but i do have a question of my own and this seems like an appropriate thread to post it. I was just wondering whether player's prices (now that we've hit round 4) only change by their performance each week or does the amount they're being traded and their popularity affect it? - yes i am a SC newbie

He wil keep incresing untill round 22 at this average (114) But the price increaces will start to decreace, he will go up by 50k this week, 25k the folowing week (due to that 53 on the weekend), then 50k again the week after, this will start to drop by 10k till round 9 then a few thousand a week till round 18 then just a couple of hundred till round 22. But thats if he keeps his avg, he is tipped to be at 480k by the end of the season but the best time to sell him to a premium would be round 9(425k) or round 10(440k) all you have to do is look for an under performing star, like Mitchell, Corey, Delideo or Vince.

I read a blog that said the price is:

Existing price x 75% +
Price based on average of last 3 games x 25%

So a $100K rookie scoring 70 every game would take about 10 rounds to get to $325K and then slowly build up to $350K (assuming the magic number is 5000).

It gets complicated when the scores are not even so they may peak earlier or later depending on their last 3 games average.

I don't know if that's right but I got that from a blog on the YSCC web-site from the resident SC quality blogger Lozza (I think it was Lozza anyway).
