Hello, Who Do You Think Should Be In The Under 18's Tac Cup Teams But Isnt....but Should/may Be In Them Next Year As A Top Age Player...

2 blokes down by the beach. Brendan Neville and Chris Mouritz, different players but freaks in their own right. How they didnt get into the struggling dragons side is beyond me.

Neville - is in the top 3 midfielders in the ACC, and has been asked to train with Sandringham Zebras nxt year, but dragons wont ask him.

Mouritz - played rep football in Adelaide, can play key position and midfield. Massive leap with amongst the strongest hands ive ever seen. Has played on and beaten the flemmings and plymins etc in juniors. Too shy to try out for TAC, but easily could be in there, and be a good player.

Heres a Couple that i think should be in the TAC CUP u/18s:

Daniel Taylor (Lives in Templestowe):
HBF but could fill a pocket, short player, but pretty fast, needs to bulk up and do weights, saw him at a TAC Practise match..and plyed quite well, hard working player and has great skill. Would have been in the mix for Bog (top 3) on the day.Great ball reader and splendid runner. Might see him there soon

Adem Bektash (Lives in Preston):
A solid CHF, CHB tall who can also be used anywhere across the gorund.Great Pair of hands and reads ball well. Saw him play july holidays for Knights and played exeptionally well kicking 5 goals in a quater and spent the rest of the game in the backline. Played a great game. Surely in the mix for BOG (top 3). May see him in the mix soon.

Damian Del Pierto (Lives in Pascoe Vale):
A forward pocket player, great leg speed, saw him play in a Calder Cannons game played a good solid game..would have easily been 1-4 BOG. has a great pair of hands and is doing extremely well for a player of his height, damian should be at another practise match or pre season soon if he keeps playing the way he is, in which he may get a call up.

Keep Up The Good Work Guys,

too true mate, both guns... but bit hard to say that about Nev, he was at dragons in 15's or 16's but wasnt committed and never showed as much as he has in the last couple years...he is an absolute freak though.
as for Moz, gun player, great hands but yeah the kid rarely puts more than two words together, top bloke though!

i know a lot of people have heard it before but jesse silver from assumption was pretty stiff not to get on calder's list. he's been labelled as one dimensional and too slow by a few people but he can kick a goal and win a game off his own boot. imo he's too good a talent not to be on a list.

Yeah, interesting that one. Seemed to be given the cut very late, nobody was ever able to find out what happened there. Surely he'd be better than Casey Summerfield up forward at the Cannons!!!

ive heard of jesse silver from essumption apparently a great player....maybe not commited enough

i play club footy with neville and mouritz and both by far better than the dragons players in our team. mozzy plays chf and has great mark but struggles with the set shots. nev is captain courageous and racks up 20 poss. minimum each week. if not playing tac next year both will be in seniors

yeah there's a bloke playing old boys at marcellin called pete augustin. was down at oakleigh for pre-season and was in the last few cut. he's gone back down to ammos and is playing in the ones after starting off in the under 19's. has been in the best for the last couple of weeks as a midfielder and he is an absolute tough nut...don't know why oakleigh didn't want him but they might be regretting it now.

tim togia turns 17 this year - was with sandy, 6 foot 3, samoan, athletic, tough and has played games with springvale reserves this year. GUN!!!

Too bad its all about who u know down at sandy land!!!

It seems sandringham oakleigh etc could be a real powerhouse if they actually picked the quality players in their comps. With the likes of haileybury, caulfield, brighton and xavier in zones, they dont pay attention to the local and schoolboy comps enough. They leave it down to the players to go down to the club, where as if they went out and actually threw out a few invites they'd find they'd improve enormously on the TAC ladder, alot of these local freaks just dont know the system and how to get into it.

Michael Barlow from shepperton could quite easily be on a list. Daniel cross like, an abundance of handballs. Will do big things in senior football, has already played seniors in GVFL and picked up votes.

greg o'shea the ,most electrifyin left footer in diamond valley enertainment today should be in knights... with his coolness under pressure and dynamic decision making is making him the most glamorous full back the diamond valley has ever seen please knights draft him.....he can be a glamorous midfielder like chris germanchis until chris's ankle gave way and jus became a plunging back pocket greg o'shea has more vigorous fitness then chris

Have played against him and totally agree...Heard that Oakleigh had tried to get him down there but not exactly sure how they went about it or the full story on it.

Seen young tim play a lot this year and for a 17 year old he is as good as they get anywhere. Was best on ground by a mile on saturday and only turns 18 next year. Surely he would be of benefint to a TAC side coz hes a gun, just go and watch him. ;)

Brodie Montague from Rochester, Has played some sensational footy at senior level in GV this year. Nearly single handedly won them the game against the league leaders Euroa. Will definately play TAC Cup footy next year!

Sandringham are very strict on the amount of school players that they put in their squad and allow a large space for the district footballers.

i reckon its the complete opposite sandy dragons look at msjfl games to much to pick their squads, not schools. there a boys like tom jakobi jack white ewyn carter shane tregear that i know of who play aps who are freaks that dont get picked. u know that sandy dragons are only alloud a cirtain amount of private school boys, i think its 15, so they would have to be getting their players from clubs footy.

Very good call. I played with Pete all through juniors and he should have been on oakleigh's list this year. Probably the toughest player i hav ever played with. Only played a handful of games for my team last year due to injury but still came second in the b and f. He was best on the last 6 games of the year!

Does well with the ladies 2. :D
