Oddly, I saw Weideman as a potential intercepting defender. A lot of his marks seemed to come from a sideways approach

Maybe not the go in today's game, but in previous years when he was younger with a bit more athleticism I could have seen him being a weapon forward for sure.

Weird wouldn't have worked in defence he was just way too soft and double grabbed everything. JVR isn't soft but I'm also worried about him not being able to clunk marks, think he might go down the same road.

I reckon JVR could regain some confidence, Weidmann just too much of a head case.
