Yep on the Pro. I love horror movies but when it comes to games I massively wuss out so VR horror would be an entirely new level of dread lol. Watched a few videos of RE7 and it looks awesome but I don't think I'll be able to handle it myself.

Happy to wait for games to come out. The biggest reason I held off on the VR when it was first announced was the price tag considering you also need the camera as well to really blow the cost out and there wasn't a lot in the way of worth while games to justify it, but with the $250 gift card I had it makes it a bit more reasonable.
you will be alright, yeah its scary but think of it like an achievement in life. Something you thought you couldn't handle but you got through it. might surprise yourself by how much you enjoyed the experience when you finish it.

Picked up RE7 yesterday. Only had one half hour session so far. Paused the game to have a dart and when I came back in I felt a mix of anticipation and pure dread. Dread won out. Playing it standing on the advice of others here, and agree that it has one of the best soundscapes ever.

Playing this game with VR makes me realise on of the tech's biggest strengths is making everything real life size.

played it last weekend have been a bit busy since, got up to after the garage which was pretty intense.

I've just completed the game. Now I'm sad, can't wait for more games like this.

Finally played the Star Wars VR the other day. Holy shit that is cool, I want a Rogue Squadron VR so badly now.

Set it up just before. Firstly, so much packaging?! Secondly, a pity the pass through doesn't support HDR. Took me a little bit to re-organising my gaming area but just had to make switching the cables over easily.

Only played around with the demo stuff but was surprised with how good the response and tracking of everything is. Lots of fun using the move controllers. I'll look at some of the games on the store sometime soon but currently having too much fun with Nioh so the VR is going to have to wait for a little bit. Also, does anyone play with a headset besides the shitty little buds that come with it? I have a Astro A50 set which I was reading on their boards that can only be used with a bit of stuffing around so I'm just accepting I won't be able to use them, but I have some other analog headets sitting around and wondering if anyone has any experience doing this, if they fit over the VR headset etc?

I use the sennheiser gsp 300 works lovely and fits really well, a must to use a good quality headset really enhances the experience. Rush of blood is a must, still my number one vr game.

Thanks mate, I have a few decent analog headsets here (Sony, Sennheiser and Razer) and it's more what can fit over the VR headset than anything else. If these don't work out I'll have a look at those ones you use.

Will have a look for that game too.

I just got drive club after months of umming and ahhhing about it.

Actually pretty fun game and I'm not a huge racing fan but it's pretty fun. Only con is the Graphics could of been so much better and this would be a must buy but that's ok, doesn't take away the gameplay. racing games are going to be awesome on VR. Looking forward to what's ahead in this genre.

I just use the Sony headset 2.0 which works perfectly.

I have them aswell but do you know if they can go louder. I have it on max but it's not that loud.
I certainly have no issues with the sound, don't recall changing anything though. I can't help you there sorry, friend.

In your ps4 system settings, what's your headphone volume set to?

Went to headphone volume and it's locked out.

Did some research on it and apparently it's because the psvr doesn't handle a wireless headset. Can only work the volume by the headset itself. I mean it's ok but at max it's like mild.

It's not that it can't handle wireless but it's because the VR takes over the sound for 3D audio which can only be done via plugging into the VR. That's why I can't use my A50 headset. Wireless will still work for sound but it will only be in stereo.

So dirt rally got vr support the other day so I purchased it 70 bucks for game and all dlc. I don't know what's included but from what I played it looks like the whole game is available in vr? It's pretty bloody good but for some reason I couldn't get my VR and wheel working together.

Have now done some research and confirmed the whole game is playable on VR. That is incredible.
