Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
I've been out of action for a little while recovering from my hip surgery (all is going well now) but have been lucky enough to get out and see a few of the local Vafa matches. As some of you will know I was getting around the Yarra Valley Old Boys as they were the team playing local to my new house (and the school of my first grandchild) and now have seen one of my favourite up and coming talents Stephen Donald drop down to Div 4 side Mount Lilydale. I thought Donald was always destined to play higher divisions (perhaps EFL for some money) but now he is kicking 4 in a quarter in Div 4. What has happened to a few of Yarra's best players leaving and why is Donald playing in D4?
