Dear Triple,

Thank you for taking the DonkeyTest.

Your Poker IQ score is: 107

I play no NL cash games at all, so I'm sure my tournament strategy wasn't applicable.

scored 108

did everyone answer "call with any two cards, but don't raise with anything" for the question where you see the other guy is holding aces??

surely if you know the other guys hole cards you are playing any hand, when it only costs you $7 out of your $50,000 stack. (holding $50k at a $1/$2 table is a bit extreme)

Just spent ages doing the test and when I clicked for my score, it said page couldn't be displayed and I clicked back and got the start of the test again. ****er!!

i did the first 20 question properly then i got board and click random, still managed to get 93 though.

Good questions on the whole. They really force you to focus on hand reading. I would be interested to see the explained solutions.

87 for me not much of a surprise its lower than the rest of you. As Im new to poker and play more to the hands I hold than what I put others on. Also the money involved in a lot of the question were well out of my league and above my play. Trying to learn.

Did the 1st 5 questions properly and found myself saying that question is far too limited 'What If....?'

Spent all of 3 seconds on every other question thereonafter and got

That's actually one of the real strengths of this test IMO. The information is nearly always incomplete, but you should be able to read into what is omitted as much as what is given.

E.g. If the description is simply "middle position" with nothing else given - I'm going to go ahead and assume I've never played with this guy before, he's relatively new to the table, etc...and weight of probabilities therefore says he's unlikely to be a really good player.

Fwiw, I scored 126 iirc back when it was originally posted on 2+2. At the time I was playing a lot of live, and really thinking about hands more. Currently I'm 99% multi-tabling online, and playing a lot more ABC poker, so I doubt I'd do as well.

I basically ignored the options of 50%Call50%Fold ect

May have been why I scored 92

...Which incidently may also be why I am a non-profit poker player.

85... Really really poor!!!

Just took a wild stab. Don't play as much poker as I would like and don't really read into the technicalities of the game.

Well at least that puts one person below me.
I stayed away from the "50%Call50%Fold ect" answers as well. So Im guessing thats where I lost the 40-60 extra points I should have got.
